The Keweenaw Family Resource Center’s Parents as Teachers & Family Support program partners with you to create goals that nurture your child’s early learning, growth, and development.

About the Program

  • FREE and available to any parent, expecting parent or caregiver with children ages 5 and younger. There are no other requirements to participate!
  • A judgment FREE program that sets your family up for long term growth.
  • A trained childhood professional is partnered with you to schedule visit (frequency is based on family’s preference) at your home to connect with your family while providing extra support with transitions, local resources, events, child development, and much more!
  • Explore parenting and child development topics that interest you.

Our Curriculum

parents as teachers curriculum Parents as Teachers (PAT) model is an evidence-based curriculum that focuses on supporting your child’s development, social connections, school readiness and health. PAT’s vision is for all children to develop, learn and grow to realize their full potential by partnering with the parents to facilitate and reflect.
