All families with young children in the Copper Country will participate in healthy child development activities in nurturing environments that encourage parents and caregivers to play an active role in their child’s life.
The mission of the Keweenaw Family Resource Center is to support, enrich, and strengthen family life in the Keweenaw Peninsula by providing a variety of programs that focus on families with children from birth through four years of age.
KFRC mails a newsletter filled with what to expect for every month of your child’s first year of life. For the 2nd and 3rd years we mail a newsletter every other month. The information in these newsletters comes from the University of Wisconsin and can be a great tool to help you learn about your little one’s development. To sign up fill out the Google Form.
Baby Closet is OPEN. If you need diapers or wipes during this time, please email info@KFRCkids.org and one of our staff will contact you.
UPDATE: The Tree House Indoor Playground and our Mohawk playgroup will be closed until further notice. During this time the Keweenaw Family Resource Center will continue to provide community information and ideas for fun, family activities through our Facebook page and our weekly parent email.
