How You Can Help
KFRC is a non-profit organization that depends on grants, fundraisers and donations from local, individual, businesss and service organizations to fund its programs. We also rely on volunteers and in kind donations. It becomes increasingly important that KFRC, as a local non-profit organization, continues to provide services as the community experiences the results of the economic downturn and the accompanying reduction in social services. There are several ways to support KFRC.
Partner with KFRC
KFRC invites everyone, either as an individual, family or business, to help KFRC in providing successful programs for all families in the area with young children. There are several options available.
Friends of the Playground: $25 -$499
Community Partners: $500 - $999
Donors: $1000 - $4999
Patrons: $5000 and up
A Community Partnership consists of a $500 pledge per year for three years. This commitment helps to assure a more stable financial base upon which to plan future programming.

Sponsorship Opportunities
KFRC’s ever popular Mommy, Daddy and Me playgroups provide a much needed outlet and support system for area families with young children. Sponsoring a playgroup is a new option for assisting KFRC. You can choose to sponsor a playgroup for a day for a donation of $150 or for 1 month for a donation of $600. When sponsoring, you may choose a special playgroup date or month; and you may sponsor in honor of someone special or for a notable occasion and KFRC will gladly display that information at the playgroup.
KFRC’s Annual Quilt Raffle
For the past several years a beautiful quilt has been donated to KFRC for its annual raffle. The drawing generally takes place in the spring of each year. This years quilt, “Wonderful Wildflowers” is 57” x 70” and uses batik fabrics for a more natural look. The drawing will be held on May 26, 2010. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. One of the squares of the quilt is displayed below.
