How You Can Help
KFRC is a non-profit organization that depends on grants, fundraisers and donations from local, individual, businesss and service organizations to fund its programs. We also rely on volunteers and in kind donations. It becomes increasingly important that KFRC, as a local non-profit organization, continues to provide services as the community experiences the results of the economic downturn and the accompanying reduction in social services. There are several ways to support KFRC.
Donate via PayPal: a paypal account is not neccessary

Sponsorship Opportunities
KFRC’s ever popular Mommy, Daddy and Me playgroups provide a much needed outlet and support system for area families with young children. Sponsoring a playgroup is a new option for assisting KFRC. You can choose to sponsor a playgroup for a day for a donation of $150 or for 1 month for a donation of $600. When sponsoring, you may choose a special playgroup date or month; and you may sponsor in honor of someone special or for a notable occasion and KFRC will gladly display that information at the playgroup.
KFRC’s Annual Quilt Raffle
- The 2011 KFRC Quilt
“Anticipation” depicts two children waiting outside the principal’s office, after a playground tussle, anticipating their punishment. The border depicts a family trip and you can practically hear the children say “are we there yet?” The 12 beautifully pieced Ohio star blocks are filled with the faces of children. Reproductions of Norman Rockwell paintings are the fabric line called “Rowdy Kids” and the pattern is an adaption from Timeless Treasures. The backside is equally whimsical for this 66″ x 78″ wall quilt that would look wonderful in any child’s room. One of the most traditional quilts of the series of works provided to support the KFRC’s goals. Tickets are available at $2 a ticket or 3 for $5 at the Tree House. The winner will be chosen Aug 30, 2011 at the Tree House.
