All families with young children in the Copper Country will participate in healthy child development activities in nurturing environments that encourage parents and caregivers to play an active role in their child’s life.
The mission of the Keweenaw Family Resource Center is to support, enrich, and strengthen family life in the Keweenaw Peninsula by providing a variety of programs that focus on families with children from birth through four years of age.
Join us on Wednesday, February 20th, for Tummy Time for Infants from 10am-12noon. We will have special guests Pediatric Physical Therapist Monica Aho and some PT students here to discuss infant development. This playgroup is FREE and designed for infants under 12months old, older siblings under 5 are welcome to come.
WIC will be at the Tree House on February 25th from 9:00am to 12noon. You can see WIC here instead of the health department and get to play at the Tree House for Free that day!
