All families with young children in the Copper Country will participate in healthy child development activities in nurturing environments that encourage parents and caregivers to play an active role in their child’s life.
The mission of the Keweenaw Family Resource Center is to support, enrich, and strengthen family life in the Keweenaw Peninsula by providing a variety of programs that focus on families with children from birth through four years of age.

WIC is at the Tree House! Every 3rd Thursday of each month, families are invited to visit WIC at the Tree House Indoor Playground from 9am to noon. WIC provides food, nutrition counseling, breastfeeding support, and access to health services for income eligible pregnant women and young children. Call 906-482-7382 to learn more. Families visiting WIC may play for free on the morning of the visit.
