All families with young children in the Copper Country will participate in healthy child development activities in nurturing environments that encourage parents and caregivers to play an active role in their child’s life.
The mission of the Keweenaw Family Resource Center is to support, enrich, and strengthen family life in the Keweenaw Peninsula by providing a variety of programs that focus on families with children from birth through four years of age.
We are having a special free playgroup at the Tree House on Tuesday July 17th from 9am to 12pm. CMU students will be joining us to give a short presentation on the importance of childhood nutrition.
Join us for our First playgroup at the L’Anse Splash Park on July 18th from 10-12. What is a splash pad you may ask? Its a water play area that uses sprayers and fountains for water play but has little to no standing water.
Please note our changing hours for the summer! The Tree House will not be open Tuesday and Thursday evenings June-August.
