- Please note, that the Tree House and Mommy, Daddy and Me hours will be changing come June. We are taking it one month at a time to see how our summer shapes up to be. So June Hours are as follows:
Monday: 9:00 am to noon : Open Hours
Tuesday: 9:00 am to noon : Mommy, Daddy and Me Playgroups and 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Open Hours
Wednesday: 1:00pm to 3:00pm Open Hours
Thursday: 9:00 am to noon: Mommy, Daddy and Me Playgroups
Friday: 9:00 am to noon: Open Hours
Saturday: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Open Hours

- Please remember that when schools are canceled or have an early dismissal due to the weather, KFRC playgroups and Tree House Open Hours are also canceled. A late start will result in KFRC playgroups and open hours opening at 10am. For safety reasons if the power is out in Houghton, the Tree House will be closed. We will try to put all cancellations on the website and facebook. If you are unsure of a cancellation, please turn to WOLV radio stations or our website

All families with young children in the Copper Country will participate in healthy child development activities in nurturing environments that encourage parents and caregivers to play an active role in their child’s life.
The mission of the Keweenaw Family Resource Center is to support, enrich, and strengthen family lives in the Keweenaw Peninsula by providing a variety of programs that focus on families with children from birth through four years of age.
